  Worst service on the planet, horrible atmosphere, basically the definition of a horrible establishment. Definitely sets the bar for places that you should NEVER go.

  Waitress was ignorant to say the least, on the verge of non-existent. You could put a mannequin behind the bar and I’m sure you’d have the same effect as the current tender. Same goes for the kitchen, as we left before even tempting to order food.

  Great place to eat people are always asking about the unique burner and I tell then the history of it. It truly is a heritage part of malakwa. When the big mill was running so many years ago it was one of the burners that burned the wood and sawdust byproduct of the mill. Since then it was transported and transformed into a unique restaurant with a ton of history as well as some of the old saws and machinery you will find inside... it's cozy and on a cold winters night you can cozy on up to the fireplace and warm up.

  We have been going to the Burner for over a year (at least four times a month). We have NEVER had anything but the best service and fantastic food. The Burner Grille is an experience in it its self. The staff and owner make you feel at home and bend over backwards for you. I always recommend this establishment when ever I can.

  Love this place. Travel back and forth from Alberta to BC and vice versa a lot and it is a must stop both ways. Never disappointed with staff or food!! Highly recommended!!

  Nothing except exceptional service at the burner! all the food i have ever gotten here is well priced and delicious. Once you walk in you will be amazed at how the interior looks and at the whole atmosphere of the place. Would recommend to anybody passing by malakwa!

  Dave the owner is always willing to meet and greet new people if he is around. Stop and ask about the history of the place and check it out.
